Pricing questions

Is there a minimum charge?
Yes. We charge for a minimum of one hour, then by the hour after that. Where we can, we will give you a sense of the likely time before we start so there are no surprises.
How do you estimate how long a job will take?
Based on what you tell us about the problem, we will try to estimate how long it is likely to take. That helps you gauge how many hours of work are involved, and therefore the estimated total cost, before we begin.
Do you charge for travel?
On-site visits include a travel fee that applies each time we come out to you. You can get an instant estimate for your postcode using the travel fee estimator above, and we confirm the exact amount when you book.
How do I pay?
You can pay by bank transfer, card payment in person, an online payment link we email to you, or cash. For businesses we can also invoice. We always talk through the cost before starting.
What if it cannot be fixed?
If we genuinely cannot solve something, we will tell you honestly and only charge for the time spent, plus point you toward the best next step.
